RSL Liepaja Beach U17 2026

The annual Liepāja Badminton Europe U17 circuit tournament took place from June 25 to 27. This year, the tournament name included the words “Liepāja” and “beach”, emphasizing that the tournament was an opportunity to combine badminton competition with great relaxation at the beginning of the Baltic Sea season.

Considering the number of players and the interest of the teams, we have made changes to the tournament dates:

Friday, June 26th
14:00 Team Managers Meeting at Venue (also online via Zoom)
From 15:00 Round 16 (MS & WS, MD & WD, XD)
From 16:00 Round QF (MS & WS, MD & WD, XD)
From 19:00 Team tournament in the badminton 100 relay format.

Saturday, June 27th
From 09:00 Round SF (MS & WS, MD & WD, XD)
From 14:00 Finals (MS & WS, MD & WD, XD)
and Price giving ceremony follows.

As you can see, the tournament will start a day later because we will not have R64 and R32, which was scheduled for Friday, June 25th.
But if players want to arrive in Liepāja earlier, this is possible both for hotel reservations and for training on Friday, June 25th.

The youth tournament U13, U15 and the Challenge Cup U21 will also be held on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th.
Registration for the U13 and U15 youth tournaments will be open until June 19th, by sending an email: latviau17@badminton.lv. The entry fee is 15 euros per player for men’s and women’s singles and 10 euros per player for doubles.

And there will also be a team tournament in the Badminton 100 relay format. We invite national or club teams to participate!
